Front cover analysis

Front cover The theme colours that i have used are red,white,black,grey and blue. I have used three imagesoon the front cover. The lastest is the band that my feature artical is about. The other two images are on the left hand column to show the other stories that are always published in the rest of the magazine. The images have been changed via Photoshop to make the necessary effects to complement the type of magazine that I was aiming at. I have used the same font throughout the magazine to show consistancy and provoke a sense of professionalism. The bar code has been put on with the prices( like a proper magazine would do). I have added a quote of what the band told the reporter underneath their name. Using red was very important so that the viewer's eyes easily gazed over to look at the exclusives and the plus section at the bottom. Adding important alternative contact information on the front cover is a good way of getting the audience to visit their website and possibly subscribing to the magazine every month. For the titlehead I used a big letter 'E' as this is the recognisable sign that this is the 'Emmense' magazine. I have used a border to make everything look tidy and well executed.
