The publisher that I would like to distribute 'Emmense' would be IPC as it is well known and established and it's owned by Time Warner, one of the biggest multinational media companies in the world. IPC already published NME which is a similar music magazine to mine so therefore people would feel confident about buying magazine by tthe same company because NME is very popular and customers know that it's worth buying. I would like IPC to publish it also because it's a large company and it's also international so I would get to sell my magazine to several countries like many of IPC's magazines already do. More advertising for my magazine would mean that there would be a negative cash flow for a time but once the magazine started to be recognised and bought more often then the magazine and IPC would soon be making a profit.

IPC states that it continues to bring you the very best in new music by publishing every week. NME has become a unique brand because it has become so popular that there is a television change, radio station and IPC manage to reach this magazine and the brand itself to over one million music fans every single week. With this massive way of advertising and ways to get the update information on brands and gigs,my magazine could potentially become as popular.

Bauer on the other hand are very successful but they aren't as big as IPC. Bauer does sell some of the most largest selling magazines although they don't specialise greatly in music magazines wherees IPC has done for 58 years of NME's heritage. Bauer do publish Kerrang which is much to similar to my magazine so therefore it would be the best decision to allow IPC to publish the magazine as there won't be a high competition between the two magazines at the same advertiser.

The synergy is also very important as there would have to be an online version of my magazine as customers may want to subscribe to it on their computers. Whilst they are on the go they may want to listen to the specialise music that we many talk about, therefore they may wish to be a radio station,they could listen to it on their phones whilst on breaks at school and work,if they are driving in their car they may wish to listen to the Emmense Radio-there are several possibilities.

We may also be able to get some more promotion because IPC get involved in sponsoring awards ceremonies,people may then want to research into company and find the different magazines that they publish and that would get the magazine more better known. Music providers such as iTunes may advertise our magazine because of the bands that are included in it are very popular and well-known.It would help both the magazine and iTunes because they would both get more interest,such as downloads and we would get more sales.
