The name of my magazine is 'Emmense'. It's the word 'immense' but changed to sound more like slang-how people in this type of group would have pronounced it. I also called the magazine 'Emmense' because this would be a typical word that rock/emo/goth people may say.

All the letters of the masterhead are in different font,this emphasises rebellion, they are either filled with black/blue or gray. The background behind the letters of the masterhead is a cobweb but I have changed the opacity to less so that the letters are clear enough to be read. The letters are quite prominent and the first 'e' of 'Emmense' is the most notcieable because it's a capital letter,it's also in 3D and that is the image that the viewers will be able to instantly be able to recognise the magazine.The colours also fit into the colour scheme which is necessary so that the perception is thta the magazine isn't messy,thrown together and shows lack of synchronisation.

The images are extremely imporant to make the magazine look professional. My cover image is very relevant to the style of the magazine. The image has been taken slightly off horizontal to portray a rough and threatening stance. The image shows rebellion. The photograph is a mid-shot because half our bodies are shown, shows the clothes that we are wearing and therefore influencing the readers to wear similar clothes to ours to fit into that social group that the 'Broken Roses' belong to. The image has been heavily photoshopped;making sure that the brightness had been increased to make the people in it appear paler,this emphasising the similarities to vampires and unhappy,rebellious teenagers(which the magazine tries to aim to entice.) The contrast has also been increased to make the colours much more vibrant and draws much more attention to the band member's faces and the caption underneath. People may want to find out more about the band if they are seen to be interesting

The clothes that they are wearing in the pictur are very specific and also fits into the latest fashions atthe time when the photographs were taken. The clothes they are wearing are all dark (black/blue/purple) but to stick witht the emo style,there are some splashed of colour too.

The clothing that I am wearing is a bright orange top and then on top of it is a military style jumper.My hair is swept across my forehead which is also known as an 'emo fringe',my hair is purple which expresses further rebellious behaviour and wanting to stand out against others.

Abi is wearing a black and white stripped top,she's also wearing a large,colourful beaded necklace which adds a splash of colour to the picture instead of all being dark and uninviting.Her hair is also across her forehead like mine. Our lipstick colour is very bright and vibrant to draw attention to the customers that may see it.

One of the props we used was the framework of a cage which worked really well. The way that Alice was holding onto it and showing her breaking free from the stereotypical normal teenager(cgae being typcial views by many people who's thoughts about stereotypical,rebellious teenagers is negative.)

The background is also dark to make the images look slightly more sinister and to give the feeling of the unknown. The people in the photographs are 16-17 because this is the sort of age group that the magazine is aimed at. The group I was appealing to was 15-22 year olds because they are more likely to be the ones reading magazines and going to concerts etc.
